- When does Ollasgården open?
- Our first season begins autumn 2027 with six rooms. Join the waitlist on the Reserve page and we will write you first when the calendar opens.
- How do I get to the estate?
- Ninety minutes from Stockholm by train or car. Fifty-five from Uppsala, ninety from Arlanda. We arrange the short transfer from Avesta Krylbo station on request.
- What are check-in and check-out times?
- Check-in is from 3 pm. Check-out is by 12 noon. Earlier arrivals are welcome to leave luggage and wander the grounds, and we can hold luggage on departure day for guests catching evening trains.
- Is breakfast included?
- Yes. Every stay includes our estate breakfast — eggs from the hen house, sourdough from the barn oven, honey and preserves from the garden, served in the lounge or on the terrace from 8 to 10.
- Do you accommodate children?
- Ollasgården is reserved for guests aged twelve and over. We are a small, quiet estate and our experiences — sauna, foraging, sound baths, tasting menu — are designed for adult travellers.
- Are dogs welcome?
- Well-behaved dogs are welcome in two of the six rooms by prior arrangement (please ask on inquiry). Sheep graze the meadow, so dogs must be leashed on the grounds. There is no extra charge, but we ask for a refundable deposit.
- Do you have dietary options?
- Our barn restaurant cooks what the land and the lake bring in. We adapt every menu to vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, gluten-free and dairy-free diets, and accommodate allergies with advance notice. Please tell us when you book.
- Is the estate accessible?
- The rooms are all upstairs currently, but everything else is accessible except the spa loungers in the barn's second floor. Please write to us with any specific needs — we will tailor the visit.
- Can we book the whole estate?
- Yes. Ollasgården can be taken privately for weddings, family gatherings and small retreats — twelve guests across the six rooms, with the restaurant, sauna and grounds included. Write to us via the contact page for buyout pricing.
- What is your cancellation policy?
- Reservations cancelled more than thirty days before arrival are fully refundable. Within thirty days, the first night is non-refundable; within seven days, the full stay is charged. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
- Do you have parking?
- Yes — free on-site parking in the gravel yard behind the manor, with two EV chargers.
- What languages do you speak?
- English and Swedish. Our team will write to you in whichever you prefer.
